We need more precise words when talking sustainable fashion. We all know fashion means disposable once the newest trend comes along. I understand fashion is an economic term used to fuel planned obsoleteness and keep everyone spending money every season. And I take my responsibility within the consumerist paradox with great concern, which is why I'm striving to build a sustainable business. I like to use the term sustainable wardrobe. By shifting the focus from fashion to the pursuit of building a sustainable wardrobe, we can minimize our impact on the environment and simplify our closets. What if we curated our wardrobes instead of this season's latest fashion trends? I'm more interested in collecting items of beauty and creating items you'll cherish for years to come. Plus, imho we don't need more we need better.
